Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I'll pay for a burned copy of that. Shipping, for the blank CD, plus a little bonus for yourself. 'Course, that opens a whole can of worms where everyone wants one, so if you say "NO!!!", I'll understand.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 It was a giveaway. I have one. It's been on my iPod for quite some now.The best is when I'm on shuffle and a Bob Murphy call pops up out of nowhere.

Guest KC Guests Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 If it was a give-away and is no longer for sale -- maybe we could stick it somewhere for people to quietly download and then get rid of it. There's one on eBay cheap right now but I don't want to bid and then a few whoread this bid and we're bidding it up against each other.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I'm happy to burn and mail.PM me your address and I'll churn it out for ya.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 25. Mets Catch Break With Ball Off The Wall: Murphy, 1973 I remember this like it was yesterday.I wrote an essay on it in college-good for an A+.Wish I still had that composition.
Guest cooby Guests Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 I don't remember that...hopefully I will if I hear it
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Those of you who have yet to take advantage of Soup's Special Offer on this disc are missing out bigtime. Not only do ya get the whole CD, you get cool Mr. Met Cover Art!
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Well, I think it was homemade or copied. The disc soupy mailed had a replica of the cover above and on the flip side (as you open the disc case, on page 2 if you will), a classic Mr. Met.The first thing I did was turn the cover art over so that Mr. Met is the new album cover. It's great!

It's great!I downloaded that Mr. Met from somewhere and just printed it out. You can find all kinds of downloadable Met logos you can use for personal stuff on the 'net (not like I need to tell you folks).Would've liked to have used the original art from the actual giveaway but couldn't find it in downloadable form and I don't have acess to a color scanner.I don't know if my burning and distributing violates anything because it WAS a giveaway. It was never for sale anywhere and I'm not accepting money for it.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 This isn't quite as good, but you can access some good sound clips here.
