Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I think the pitchers have pretty much done all they can to deserve a win tonight and though you can dicker with WWSB's management of it, the fact is the bullpen has thrown 8 scoreless innings on the road as I type, and there's games to win tomorrow nite and Sunday too. At some point you have to have faith that the O gives you a lead to protect, or you take your chances with the Julios and Zambranos. You can't have both.Jeezus, Bradford whiffed the side.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 Bradford k's the side!!!!lets get 5 runs so we can safely insert Julio. If we only get 1 run i say we go with PEDRO!

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 The whole lineup looks like shit. We don't even have a chance out there.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Padres win the World Series.Or so it appears.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 its a big game for them i guess, you don't want to lose an extra inning game at home having also lost last night with 2 more to go.Pedro needs to throw 110 pitches tommorow regardless of how well or poorly he is pitching, if he's not doing well too bad, take one for the team.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Anyone have a puppy? I'd like to stop by and kick it.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit.Well, your not gonna win em all.Coulda been managed with a Julio make it or break in inning and 2 or more outta Heilman.Cripes-the guy was ready to be a starter. You dont have to worry about his innings pitched. So, what are we?11-5?not bad

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 good game--aside from the part where we lost.
Guest abogdan Guests Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 How do you use a pitcher for only two batters in the 12th? If you're going to use Bradford, you have to bring him in to start that inning. Why waste a lefty on Eric Young and Adrian Gonzalez when the only hitter in that lineup you should be scared of - Brian Giles - is a lefty?
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I fell asleep at the comp during the 12th.I woke up to a black screen and my computer had locked up.14 inning west coast games are crappy, especially when we lose. Hopefully we can turn it around on Saturday.

When should Willie plan for the Mets to have given them a lead? The 36th inning?
