seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Patch: Been out of town... just got it. Let me check it out and get back to you.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 smg, the players you wanted for Rivera arent neccisarily unavailable, but I don't want to give up both
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Sorry for not getting back to people on proposed trades. I've been away, and then my internet provider has been giving me grief, so I haven't been able to get online much.Anyone have a starting pitcher to deal?
Guest abogdan Guests Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Need: A 1B that isn't awfulHave: Plenty of decent SP to trade
Guest abogdan Guests Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Sorry about the confusion in my previous post. By "1B that isn't awful" I meant "1B better than Lance Niekro."
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Unfortunately I have more quantity than quality where 1B's are concerned, and Berkman is very untouchable right now.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Niekro could very well be the worst "everyday" 1Bman in the league.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Im considering the trade GYC.Im going to wait until after Fridays game in any case, but I am thinking about doing this deal.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 With my team's namesake, Todd Helton, on the DL because of "intestinal inflammation" (most likely from bad meat), I'm in the market for a 1st baseman. I'll put one of the closers on the block.Danny Baez (6 SV) and Bobby Jenks (6 SV) are both available in a deal for an above average 1B.Johnathan Papelbon is not untouchable, but the deal would need to blow my doors off.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Shit man, I have two injured 1B-men and Jeff Kent. Not much I can do to help you.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 My offense is so bad right now I don't even think I could afford to trade Nevin, much less Lance Berkman. I'm getting zero power from everybody else.Honestly, if I were you, I'd be patient at 1B and pile up the saves while Baez is still closing, Jenks isn't imploding, and Papelbon hasn't been moved into the starting rotation. They've been great for you so far, and should continue to be for at least a little while longer.
willpie Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 OldMole, I've proposed a trade to you. If you don't want to do it, please reject it; I've had some inquiries on some of the players involved, but I'd prefer not to back out of a deal that I proposed. If you're still thinking it over, please let me know.
Guest GYC Guests Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 I really need OF help. Badly. Beltre, Lopez, Vidro, Sanchez, Nady all available, but not all at the same time. I prefer to keep Sanchez most out of them all. Will consider offers for any of my players with the exception of Pedro, Street, and Howard.
willpie Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Wow. I hadn't noticed how weak my outfield was until I tried to put together a trade package for you, GYC.Good luck; sorry I can't help you (and especially sorry I don't have anything that could lure Nate Robertson off your hands).
willpie Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Have: Starting pitching, catchers, infieldersNeed: Saves and/or Outfield helpAny of my starting pitchers is available for the right price.
