I feel secure in saying that Soto wasn't going to catch that ball (2nd out of the 9th inning) nor was Nimmo.  Benge starting to strut his stuff a bit more lately.

 

So they win a series and have a winning record in May, so that's ... something.

If Carson Benge's bat can keep him in the lineup, his defense is going to be a contender for gold.

I’m convinced Vientos and Baty will heat up. Both those guys never hit in April

I truly hope you are right.  The Mets need a lot more offense from Vientos, Baty, and Alvarez going forward.
