Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Devin Williams has fallen off the chart because he hasn’t pitched since last Tuesday against Arizona.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 14 Posted April 14 The Mets have been dominated by mediocre pitching. Maybe they’ll dominate good pitching.

The chart is still buggy. I'm working out how exactly to identify which pitchers should remain on the list, and which should be automatically removed. There are more qualifiers than just scanning the 26-man roster. Teams using openers really throws a wrench into the gears. I'm still sorting out fringe cases like that.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14 Posted April 14 In the office season there was a lot of talk about Francisco Alvarez breaking out I think he broke out the year he hit 25 homers. He has not approached anything like that since I'd like to move him up to third in the order and make him consistently responsible for the ducks on the pond The used Vientos in the three hole last night. Alvarez might be an improvement from that LGM! MFS62 1

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Well, he's not batting leadoff, but he sure is sneaking up the lineup. The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Edgy, not to be too picky, but the lineup shows Baty in RF batting 6th and again in RF batting 9th. I am assuming that the 9th slot is either Taylor or Pham playing in LF.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I intend to watch tonight as long as we are competitive. Should be a wonderful pitchers duel between McLean and Yamamoto.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I wonder what type of loss we’ll have today. Will it be 1-0? With the Dodgers scoring on a defensive miscue? maybe we’ll take a small early lead and the pen will cough it up. More likely McLean will give us a good start. Maybe 3 runs, 6IP. And we lose 3-0. I’m at the point where a Mets win would be the flukiest of flukes.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 15 Posted April 15 1 hour ago, Centerfield said: I wonder what type of loss we’ll have today. We're due for one of those games where we're up like 8-0 after three and then just don't get another hit while the other team chips away little by little until suddenly it's 8-9 and then they keep going and we lose 8-15. But actually they're going to win 4-1 tonight, Bichette homers.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Lindor was high fiving and chest bumping through the dugout. He bumped Pham and noticeably bounced back.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Will Smith took his foot off the base while doing his dance. Stay with the tag, Mets.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 15 Posted April 15 One day McLean will learn to stop nibbling and attack the zone.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I don't like how McLean swings his leg to put body English on his breaking pitches. It could turn into a tip, it could lead to over-throwing, and it doesn't leave him in position to field.
