Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I was the third-baseman-of-the-future, but I didn't really hit like it, so they made me the second-baseman-as-needed-of-the-present. And somehow, I hit a little better. And I did OK at second. So now, for some reason, I'm the rightfielder-of-the-maybe. I wanna complain, but I look at Jeff McNeil in Sacramento and I realize things could be worse. I don't know how long I'll be here, and though I'm pretty athletic, I would just likely be holding the place for another guy.And did I mention that they are making me play first also?Obviously, this season can go any number of ways. I wouldn't be shocked to find myself in center at some point, to be honest. A little confused, but not shocked. You know what might shock me? Your prediction of my season. Because my season is ... hard to predict.[FIMG=532]https://media.nbcnewyork.com/2022/08/web-220817-brett-baty-ap.jpg?quality=85&strip=all&resize=1200%2C675[/FIMG] [FIMG=168]https://img.mlbstatic.com/mlb-photos/image/upload/ar_9:16,g_auto,q_auto:good,w_2608,c_fill,f_jpg/v1/people/683146/action/vertical/current[/FIMG] [FIMG=392]https://blogs.fangraphs.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/USATSI_20134885.jpg[/FIMG] [FIMG=308]https://metsmerizedonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/USATSI_23010289_168404739_lowres.jpg[/FIMG]
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Man, he could be anywhere depending on external factors. Could be the everyday RF, dominant DH, or just a utility guy.I'll split the difference- 15/55/.250.

Radar Verified Member Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Depends a lot on how our current corner infield pans out.
