Hope you feel better today.

Tyrone Taylor right back out there, while AJ Ewing is returned to the fold but demoted in the order.  At least he's playing against a lefty.

If you had told me ten years ago that Martin Perez was gonna forge a 15-year career in the majors -- as a regular, even -- I woulda said you're a dang fool. But here we are, and he's still going.

He's just three wins away from being one of less than 20 active pitchers with 100+ victories.

Love the early start. I have been leveled by asthma and severe pain and missed the last last two games

Martin Perez was effective against the Mets recently

Feel better Ashie. 💆🏻‍♂️

It seems like nailed at second is a season theme.

But hey!  A lead!  That's certainly not a season theme!

Danny Young, Jeremy Hefner. I'm hearing all sorts of former Mets names already.

Their first-base coach is the guy who led the Mets to some off-the-charts baserunning numbers for most of last year.

And before this game is over, there's a good chance we see Cookie Carrasco.

And then there's that Dom Smith guy.

Can't believe the Mets still allow the Kars 4 Kids scam to be advertised or to sponsor them. That organization is so bad California straight up banned them from airing commercials.

Vientos and McLean each have an error, which proves this official scorer will reward a fielder with an error if he tries hard enough.

As often comes to pass, the Mets' better reliever are all well rested, but I would have them ride McLean as far as he will take them.

Mets managers are not good at riding starters
