Blade Tidwell with an ERA north of 14, taking the bump against some Zack Wheeler guy. Flash in the pan, I bet

I got a 7 day free trial offer for ATV+ which wasn't available to

me the last game this year. I just have to remember to ditch it

or they'll PayPal me $10 next Friday. Lotta hands in the cookie

Jar; Verizon streaming, Apple, Google Play and Paypal. I guess

they're all laughing on the way to bank.

They lost me at Jared Young. Yes, I know he's a lefty, but he.....what's that word?.....sucks. But Mendy just keeps banging his head against that brick wall over and over.

I just consulted my Magic 8 Ball and asked if the Mets will

hit four or more homeruns this evening and it replied:

"SIGNS POINT TO YES"

I associate this whole offensive swoon with Lindor playing with a fractured toe. A compromised and joyless Lindor is a contagious thing.

Reaching an insurmountable lead, Mets down 2-sniffle through four.

Yup. They oughta consider a temp leadoff hitter while this heals. Zimmo? Taylor? McNeil? Mauricio?
