Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 I don't think Cohen gets outbid. But I can see how those rightfield Fenway bullpens are an inviting target.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 With my heart, I think he's going back to the Yankees. Not for any reason than my defeatist Mets attitude. Maybe I don't want to get my hopes up.Logic tells me players follow the money. And I think Cohen will have the highest offer. So I picked Mets.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 I took the Yanks, would be shocked but'll find it ok with the Sawx.Poll us tomorrow at 4:30 and I'll change my mind again!(unless it's too late)

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 I took the Yanks, too. Betting on things to stay the same ain't always right, but it pays off over the long haul. Moreover, the Yanks have the most pressure on them. Pennant or no, they're still smarting from the season sweep by the Mets, along with Severino publicly telling them that they had only two hitters, which was true enough.
