Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 (edited) That might come back to haunt us.Gameday makes it appear both of those pitches were low. Edited July 23, 2024 by Guest
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Striking out after a 3-0 count. yikes.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 No BB, no HBP, therefore no runs.If the Mets were even an average hitting team with the bases loaded they'd probably be three to five games higher in the standings.Oh-for-four just tonight alone.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Well, if a one-run lead in the eighth doesn't mean you bring in Ol' 88, Phil Maton, I don't know what.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 I never heard of this Wells fella
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Allowed the walk so he wasn't quite an AutoMaton, but he was close.Unfortunately that one baserunner means Judge will bat in the 9th.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Diekman is about to be thrown into the furnace. It'd be nice to score nine or ten here.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Diekman in the 9th. Me scared.

Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 What was that supposed to be?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 That's like three base running blunders from Bader in just the last couple of days?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Can we just fast-forward to the end? I can't watch.
Bob Alpacadaca Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Has Diekman had a good game in a while?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 OK, here's the plan: Diekman retires Soto then fakes an injury. Then which righty do you bring in to face Judge?
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 It's insanity to think the Mets will win this game
