With a good chunk of the team slumping, options on the bench to pinch-hit for Leody Taveras weren't great, but they were pretty much all better than Taveras, who is in the mother of all slumps.

I have to clear my IGT conscience. I didn't believe and retired to

bed after Lindor K'd to start off the ninth. I muttered to myself this

isn't going to end well and and if it goes to extras I was in no mood

for the ghost runner bullshit so I watched the last five outs first thing
