Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 Christian Scott vs. Jesus Luzardo.Luzardo hasn't been great this year (0-3, 5.97 ERA) but has been ok in the past. His WHIP is 1.33, which is not terrible. Similar to Manaea. Better than Quintana. The high ERA comes from two bad starts against the Braves and Yankees. He's given up 2 ER three times and 3 ER once in his other four starts.Odds that he will pitch a no-hitter tonight. About 50/50.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 The 25-year-old Otto López is OPSing around .900, and clearly is the reason they went ahead and dealt Arraez.Already with his third organization, however.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 You're all missing a game here. And as of 20 seconds ago, it became a game that the Mets are trailing by four.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 I've been watching but can't say it's very watchable
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 Scott escaping a bases-loaded/no-out situation may or may not be something to build on.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2024 Author Posted May 17, 2024 I say we give him a bat and see what we got. Can't be worse than what's out there.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 I haven't been able to follow, glad to re-focus and see it's still only 4-sniffle.Guess that bases loaded thing didn't work out for the Fishsticks.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 I'm sticking around to see if the Marlins get a triple-double [runs, hits, Ks]
