Fun fact: Up until September 24, 1999, Hideo Nomo was the all-time leader, and he only fell out of the top ten on June 11, 2008, when passed by current-sixth-place-holder Kosuke Fukudome.

Wikipedia says there are 67 Japanese born MLB players. I would have guessed more.

I challenge you CPF. Without looking them up. Name them all.

Obviously, Americans of Japanese descent (Kurt Suzuki, Lenn Sakata) don't count.

One guess per post. No guessing two in a row. (you can't guess the guys on the list above)

Giants rookie Jung-Hoo Lee, despite his Korean-ness, was born in Japan while his father was playing in NPB.

Johjima's a top 10 HR guy and was given. Like RSTLNE in the last round of Wheel of Fortune.

There are still 57 more? I can't imagine we'll get them all without cheating.

Looking at the list, I don't see how we can get the last 15-20 without hints. But as of right now, there are lots of low hanging fruit remaining. Including players who have worn orange and blue.

Steven Chitren is the second Anglo name on the list, and first player named that I have never heard of. There will be more.
