But if you're ranking by chiseldness of the jaw, might top this list of Japanese ballers.

Norihiro Nakamura.

Equally Japanese. Slightly less chiseled.

Kuroda is correct. Number 3 among wins for Japanese-born MLB players. Led the league in looking at you like a disappointed father.

The fact that it took you this long to name him has him feeling, well, disappointed.

Let's lift the limit on guesses now as it's starting to get harder. Still lots of household names left. Including, by my count, 6 All-Stars.

Shogo Akiyama is correct. He's the second name I had never heard of on this list to be named.

Rookie Carroca is, I'm guessing, a reference that I'm missing. Nonetheless, not on the list.

On the heels of Hiroki Kuroda I went with Rookie Carroca because hearing the first name always reminded me of the second.

Rookie Carroca was, of course, a Filipino boxer* and later second husband to Belle Steinberg Carroca, Benjy Stone's mother

in MY FAVORITE YEAR (1992, Mark-Linn Baker, Lainie Kazan, Joseph Bologna, and the great Peter O'Toole)

We now return you to your quiz, already in progress.
