The Mets return home and have "TBD" on the mound to face the Nationals and the debut of the Tuesday Night Mets Club (418, row 1, sweet). The Nats are 7-14, 7 games out, and starting Josiah Gray who's already 0-4 (but pitched a little better than that). Gray is a native New Yorker.

Looking for Steve to come through with his promise to make the ugly patch come in Mets colors.

We know that Dom will get a tribute video. Will Trevor Williams?

Jose Butto can't be recalled until 5/2 unless there is an injury. I'm going with "Tommy Hunter" and "back spasms".

Yah this would be my guess - someone goes on the "least good player" injured list and Jose "I Like Big" Butto comes up to pitch, based on his last performance which was better than I expected.

TBD throws a filthy slow-change curve ball. Saw him several times a

few years back in Fishkill and he was baffling!

Draftkings has Butto pitching, for now anyway

Yeah, that would be a dick of a request to ask Hunter to go away for two weeks again, after he just got relaunched.

The Nats Carter Kieboom is now 25 and has had a terrible time of it. He was a top shelf prospect who could not get over the hump in his first extended taste of MLB

During spring training of 2022 he was diagnosed with a flexor strain in his throwing arm. It was later determined that he had blown out his UCL and had surgery that ended that years campaign for him

Fast forward to this year's spring training and Kieboom got into a game and injured his shoulder in the repaired arm. The Nats said this setback was related to the shoulder issue. He just doesn't have enough strength to make the throws at 3B and he is on the shelf again. On top he has been a Mendoza line hitter at best

That's a bad beat

That's two games in a row with Guillorme, great glove, meh bat, starting instead of Canha against a righty.
