Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 I have no idea who is on the Rays. Is Tyler Glasnow available?
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Rays always seem to get the better end of any deal, so caution is warranted. And they'll want good farm products- they won't take a Dom Smith off our hands.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 I'm not rooting for a deal here, but Drew Smith for Lucas Duda says the Rays can be beaten at the trade table.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2022 Author Posted November 14, 2022 If the Rays are going to make a deal to clear roster space, they'll have to do so by 6 pm tomorrow.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 The Rays have a surplus of pitching, and a shortage of healthy pitching. Yonny Chirinos might be a good buy-low candidate, having finally gotten back to the mound after TJS followed by a freakish broken elbow while pitching batting practice. And Brooks Raley is a good lefty reliever they would probably move. I wouldn't go overboard to get either, but I'm definitely talking.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2022 Author Posted November 15, 2022 And I would assume that if they're making a deal to clear space on the 40-man roster, they would be looking to get prospects in return who aren't yet Rule-5 eligible.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 It's 5:30 man. Where are these big trades
