kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I was in and out of the room not quite settled in yet and FOX was showinga replay of Max giving the dugout the I'm done sign with the hand across the throat thing and I nearly dropped my dinner plate.Don't do that.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I want them to score about 19 more runs. Then I'll feel good.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Just a little harder next time, Zimmo.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Harris flashes the leather again
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Man, fuck Will Harris, and anyone who enjoys his work
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 New strategy: don't hit it anywhere near Harris.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Maxofacial Max needs to remove some Atlanta teeth
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 We're going to be shown the replays of Harris' catches for eternity.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I fear Max' flank is tender.I could be wrong. He just seems to be falling out of his deliveries. Maybe that's just his thing and I've never really considered it.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Nimmo bails out Francisco there
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Mets can flash some leather in CF also
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I was just thinking over the last few days that I couldn't remember the last time I saw Lindor even bobble a ball.Thankfully we got away without this one hurting.

roger_that Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Does it sound to you like Smoltz is talking in Chinese sometimes? He keeps describing the pitchers' motions and such and I can't visualize what he's saying. It sounds like gibberish to me: "His release point is from behind his left ear, almost as if he's tunneling his way out of a mountain of coffee grounds, but then he pulls his toes out and it really confuses the lefthanded batters..." sort of thing. Or maybe it's just that I don't speak Smoltz?

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Naquin just needs to be about 8% more Danny Heep.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Leadoff double. Time to hit the antacid tablets.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 I hate this Fox crew and their eternal 9 inning love letter to the Atlanta Braves. I hope John Smoltz get sprayed by a skunk and then falls into an 1800s Victorian well.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Another thing I haven't picked up until now: Scherzer has horizontal clefts across his earlobes.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Smoltz: “Wouldn't surprise me if Diaz threw 2 innings tonight”Gwreck: “It would surprise me if he didn't”

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 We gotta stop hitting at'em balls. And, while they're at it, don't be afraid of bunching a few hits together. This one and only one per inning thing doesn't produce many runs.
roger_that Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 OF course McNeil gets another hit!!!!Yeah, almost a third of the time.
