Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Gary and Ron were all about that ice cream debate. That “everybody clap your hands” thing now grates on me. I swear the minor league team near me plays it twice an inning.Nice pickoff!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Yeah, I don't ask for my ballpark experience to reinvent the wheel every night. I just want it to be distinctive from the experience at the Cardinals' or the Rangers' parks.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 We've got a tie.Vargas is having a hell of a game.

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Peterson really only had one easy inning. Trying to eeek another one outof him may not have been the best idea but...

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 A launch from the Piss Missile !
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 This Gray guy breaks my heart. His slider is great, but it's all he wants to throw and the batters know it.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Why no pinch runner for Vogelbach?
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 He might score on a triple.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Now we got one.You don't even have to burn Gore, as we see here. Naquin can upgrade you on the basepaths significantly without giving you a whole lot of downgrade in batting two innings later.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Eh, there are no outs and he's now on third. If he doesn't score, there are much worse things that happen here.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Here's a novel idea. Bases loaded, no outs. Score some fucking runs against this shit team.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Ugh, that's a dumb attempt to advance by Canha. GIve up the second out wtih a runner on 3B. Dumb
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 I must have missed something.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Nido, batting .221 with 0 HRs this year, is amazingly the C I want up there when it matters. How sad is that, anyway?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 And my faith in Nido pays off. I win
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 This is the kind of smacking around I was hoping for.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 (edited) Yeah, this was long overdue. A sequence of singles and doubles and productive outs against a bad pitcher on a bad team playing out the string. It's the wayOE: +triples Edited September 2, 2022 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 The Nats got Gray off the hook. Dave Martinez might have done well to get him out of there. Now three of these four runs are on his account. And the Mets gave them an out.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Man, for the second straight game, the winners of those Coors Light seats seem like the most bored folks in the house.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Mets cruisin now, which is making me way sleepy but that's OK. A four run lead with three outs left to get.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Best Loogy curve of the season right there.

The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 My MLB account blocks me for all Washington & Orioles games, so I live vicariously through the in game threads. At least this is preferable than when I was always blocked from Atlanta games until MLB inexplicably switched to Washington and Baltimore black outs.
whippoorwill Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Me too Hot Corner…don't you love it when they just yell[bIGPURPLE]Nimmo!!![/bIGPURPLE]or something Lolol

MLB doesn't want folks doing an end run around those channels that have lucrative deals with the clubs.
