At least this is preferable than when I was always blocked from Atlanta games until MLB inexplicably switched to Washington and Baltimore black outs.

I guess you're probably about equidistant from ATL and BAL/WAS

But how it's usually determined is which team's games you could possibly get via cable pkgs available in your area. MLB doesn't want folks doing an end run around those channels that have lucrative deals with the clubs.
