Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Mets need to break through in inning seven.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Gizmo has lightning hands
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Ahh, Farte shoulda had itHere comes Collin "Effing" Holderman
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 I'm sure the Mets have actually retired Justin Turner before but I can't recall it ever happening.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Sharte's gotta get that back with the bat next inning.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 A tablespoon of Brusdar Graterol dissolved in water every morning has done wonders for my regularity.Seriously though, pretty nasty for the guy you go to in the seventh.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Neither Pete nor Cahna looked at all comfortable against this guy, and Esco couldn't catch up to him.

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Collin "Fucking" Holderman is a beast.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 .I'm a little WERRRIED about Zimmo
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Things I did not remember until just a moment ago when Gary reminded me: Mets have not been shut out this year.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 So, we're gonna have to do this against Kimbrell.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Marte single, Guillorme single, Alonso homer. Let's do this.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Sugarman and Hart on their way home. They're gonna feel silly when they hear about this comeback.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Well, that wasn't an ideal way to spend the evening.

But they know CT's catalogue and can appreciate the deeper cuts. Me, well, I just don't go deep enough to enjoy their sets.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Caught the fast-forward. Bleh. So they don't get an off-day flying to the west coast, but they DO get an off-day between San Diego and Anaheim. I guess to visit Disneyland.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Why does Kimbrel bend over like an idiot before throwing each pitch? Pitch clock his ass!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Getting three-hit is disappointing fer sure.Ruined what was a more than decent performance from our hurlers. It's like Jake was out there.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Going back to watching fly balls hit by Mets batters die at the warning track in Seals Stadium, I recall entire West Coast road trips when Mets hitters couldn't do dick. I hope this isn't going to be one of them.Later
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2022 Author Posted June 3, 2022 I believe it's the first shut out of the year. That's kinda remarkable on 06/02.Not many highlights. Curious what Taters O'Neil looks like these days. That's all I got.
