I don't think I've ever seen a manager initiate a bench-clearing brawl before. Maybe Billy Martin?

And Buck's first managerial mentor was ... ?

By the way ... not that this one would have worked out any other way, but an unintended consequence of the universal DH is going to be more going after the pitcher, knowing that you'll never get him in the batter's box.

More retaliatory throwing at innocent batsmen too.

I like the hit/strike-out/reach base probability percentages that Apple TV puts in the corner. It's kind of fun and not obtrusive. It doesn't seem like there's any rhyme or reason as to why they pick one outcome or the other, though. And I'm assuming the 37% hit probability Pete had when it was 2-1 was based on his particular success in those counts, but they've not mentioned it, so I don't know if it's that, or league average, or what.

I fear that this might be something intended to be folded into instant wagering.

I wonder what AppleTV+ would play during a rain delay.

I'd wager that you are 100% correct. In addition to outcome probabilities, they've also put the odds for each team to win multiple times. There was no sponsorship with Draft Kings or whatever so I'm waiting for Apple to announce their new baseball betting ring

I think we should set the line at about a 74% probability and start taking some action.
