Jefrey De Los Santos is a utility guy who hasn't appeared above the DSL. Twenty is still Alonso. DSL was likely wearing it in the minor league camp when he was told to hop on a bus to Palm Beach this morning.

I went to a Dodgers/Giants game on Saturday and there were two nameless number 90s in the Dodgers lineup. I was hoping the wrong #90 didn't get cut for bouncing out to second 3 times.

I assume that's the answer to the "we had to send a bunch of guys north for the MILB games to start but SOMEBODY has to play these games" scenario.

Stanley got into 20 games of Rookie level ball in 2021 after not playing since 2018. Twelve of his 20 hits went for extra bases and maybe his career is back on track.

I will say, after absorbing most of Sunday's WPIX rerun in the evening on SNY, that Gary Apple annoyed me less as a PBP man than most of the non Gary-Cohen types and non-SNY yabbos we've been subjected to over the years from ESPN, the MLB network, etc etc
