Help Wanted.

We here at Typewriter Chewing Gum are going through baseball burnout. Or baseball apathy. Whatever we don't care what with the GOP about two days away from burning books and then burning black people, too. And we just can't finish our furshlugginer 2021 total Mets team set. We're stuck on these 2021 Mets:



Jonathan Villar, Drew Smith, Tylor Megill, J.D. Davis, Carlos Carrasco, Trevor Williams, Jake Reed and Chance Sisco.



What we need is copy. So send us your suggestions, consistent with already existing 2021 Mets cards. We'll accept uplifting copy, too -- if it's any good. Give us some text, some catchphrase, some slogan, something to write. If we like whatchoo got, we'll use it. And claim exclusive rights to whatever you send us that we end up using. Youse get nothing for your efforts other than bragging rights. But no legal rights. And a prize. Maybe a card from the Typewriter back catalog.

Great stuff. But we did Szapucki. Maybe I can use this idea on one of our missing players. Or maybe update Szapucki's card. Check our list for missing players who need a phrase at the top of this thread.

I think there's a lot of potential in the quick-service restaurant industry. Thinking classic Jack in the Box/Arthur Treacher type stuff.

I thought of doing McDonald's inspired cards for 2021 before I did the Meet the Mets cards. But my ideas were so elaborate that in the end, I put the McD project on the back burner because I didn't feel like investing all the time I thought would be needed to pull that one off the way I wanted to do it.



Is that what you had in mind, something like that?
