Watched the heartwarming Mets holiday vid and I'm now curious about the Mr. Met/Mrs. Met family tree. So Mr. Met has parents (also Mr. Met and the wife Mrs. Met) who live in Florida or something. And there is also the younger Mrs. Met (née Lady Met). I know I'm an out-of-towner, but is the former Lady Met our loveable big-headed icon's wife? Does this family tree look like a cactus? Or is "Met" just the familial surname and the maiden names for both Mrs. Mets was Sanchez or Smith or something else? What am I missing?

I question how one pair of seniors — who should be under lockdown and certainly not flying — getting to drop in on their son and daughter-in-law can "save the holidays."

That's arrogant!

I just watched that video. I have my doubts about the truth of the depicted events.

That was weird. "A" for effort but I'd rather have the Mets' players read "Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from the New York Mets!" over and over.
