If it was so important to get Villar "involved" (per Luis) at the expense of starting McNeil, then why didn't he get Nido "involved", too?

There is no urgency with Luis. He sits Dom and then lets Pillar bat against a righty with the bases loaded. He sits McNeil today to get Villar "involved". He doesn't PH McNeil in the 2d down 4 with 2-on. Maybe these moves will pay off eventually but there's nothing wrong with managing with a sense of urgency.
