Seems like a pretty good get. Slap hitter in AA, but he's shown some power in the lower minors, knows what a walk looks like, and steals bases like he's Billy Joe and Bobbie Sue. Top-ten Royals prospect from Newark, Delaware, where they don't take shit from nobody.

A prospect off of anybody's top 10 list for Matz is a win.



Lee can draw walks and has 50-steal speed, which is an intriguing combination. But he has to show more with the bat. If I learned anything from watching Eric Young Jr., it's that the willingness and ability to work to the count will only get you so far at this level if pitchers don't respect your ability to make them pay for staying in the strike zone.

I would guess that a couple of prospective deals that were completely unrelated at first somehow got merged. I'm curious about the process on this one.
