MLB Survey Question 10: Home Run Derby

Major League Baseball has sent out a fan survey, asking fifteen questions. Let's make each of these a poll, so they can be voted on and discussed individually.



In order to reduce wear and tear on players, games that are tied after 9 innings will be determined by a Home Run Derby between the teams

I think this idea is even worse than starting an inning with runners on base. (And that's a very bad idea.) Let some games end in ties, and figure a way to have them count in the standings. Maybe do like hockey does.

No, no no! I would rather play a tenth inning (straight up, as in real baseball) if part of a double header or play 11 innings if a single game. If stil tied, then leave it a tie and move on.
