You can pencil me in and get out of the way. That's the attitude I'm trying to take, anyhow. But the truth is, while I haven't yet had a bad season, I haven't had one that was overall good. I've had a good first half and a bad second half. I've had a bad first half and a good second half. I went to the World Series in my rookie season, and I realize that this sort of ambiguity isn't going to get me back there. But there have been bumps in the road. A strange, non-contact injury, dislocating my shoulder on a follow-through. That was a bump. Possibly coming back too soon from that injury? That was a wee bit bumpy too. How about trying to pass myself off as a centerfielder? Did you feel that? Trying to convert into a leadoff batter? BUMP!Listen: Even with Canó in the house and even if Céspedes was healthy, I may be the best hitter on the team. I probably am. But I need to avoid them bumps. So what I need from you is to can pencil me into (hopefully) left and (hopefully) the middle of the lineup, and and get out of the way.And I need one more thing. Before that penciling, I need you to tell me how you think I'll do in 2019
