(Which is not to say they're not good prospects. From what I'm reading it seems like a pretty fair trade and the Marlins got pretty good value.)

Jorge Alfaro is a young, Colombian catcher who has been up and down with Philadelphia since 2016 (we've seen him against the Mets), but he's still got some pretty solid future stock.



Phillie got him in the great big trade that sent Cole Hamels to Texas.

Months ago, Jeter wanted Syndergaard from the Mets and Andujar + Sanchez from the MFYs for Realmuto and instead got a fraction of that from the Phillies. Way to go Jeter.
