He threw 73 pitches in his last rehab start, so a little patience, maybe some early runs would go a long way towards chasing him and winning this game..

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 I don't remember that movie, just Googled it and it looks like something I'dlike and will check it out. Anyway, it's Wednesday and it's Georgia, and the Metsare due for a double-digit laugher. Mets 12-Braves 2
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Conforto on a 0-22 stretch, that is hard to doFree Pecan pie to any and all Mets who get a hit. Confident the eight slices I have we be enough.Slice per hit MetsiesPie over/under is 8
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Another day that ends in a Y...Mets hitless through 3, meanwhile F. Freeman has an RBI. 1-0 Braves bottom 3.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 I also thought we left behind the "Mets crap the bed in Atlanta" theme when they abandoned Turner Field.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 In a big situation — close game and runners on — who is more dis-spiriting to see walk up to the plate? Bruce or Conforto?I figure if you're looking for a strikeout on a pitch up, Conforto's your man. If you want a soft liner off the end of the bat into the shift, go for Bruce.Gonzalez was the double play specialist. That position is currently open.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Mickey Calloway is clueless. You can pitch around Freeman

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 If warning track fly-outs and Braves flashy infield D doesn't count, mebbe.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 For those not watching SNY, they just gave a tiny tidbit to prep us for thenext series: The Mets have scored just 52 runs in their last 17 games. TheD'backs have scored 51 runs in their last 5 games.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Slight tangent and I'm in full-on "why don't they make the whole plane out of the black box" territory but if MLB really wanted to do something about pace of play and the length of games, they'd make every contest a midweek getaway day game.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 If the Mets aren't leading the league in pop-ups caught in foul territory I will eat my hat
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 1 hit through 7 innings. Yeah, that'll get it done.
