G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 This time, Jacob deGrom's brilliant no-decision will come in a righteous cause. Some worthless prick will pitch for the opposition.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 We are all waiting breathlessly for one of Fmann's classic KTEs.The games themselves will pale by comparison.Oh, Joe Beningo on WFAN suggests that his fellow Mets fans go out of town for the weekend to avoid both the games and MFY fans.I disagree. It will be so much fun to revel in the victories, starting with tonight.Later
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 I know I've been saying this, but the Mets are extremely due. the offense IS actually better than this. They WILL hit. Would be a nice time to wake up and start that 8-4 streak they need to get back into respectability with a sweep.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Absolutely not looking forward to this weekend series...

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 Would love to kick all over their asses, but I’m feeling more metirish than ceets at the moment. Glad we got our 2 studs going and maybe Matz can pull a Mlicki.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 It would be awesome if Steven Matz could pull a Mlicki, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Matz has never thrown a complete game in his career. And this season, he's only thrown seven innings once. The likelihood of throwing a complete game shutout seems remote. Also remote are the chances of the Mets scoring six runs in a single game. Six runs accounts for all the run scoring for June. The likelihood of both of these things happening in the same game...
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 It appears we will go the weekend without Cespedes

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Mets are hitting into the shift a lot. Like, whenever they don't strike out.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 If Bruce was running, the Mets likely have first and third. Instead, 6-4-3.Why are they so un-aggressive?
