Our future stars:
Rosario: not great to start--no bat, not as good in the field as expected, hopefully it's only just a slow start.
Dom Smith: late one day in ST and he's damned to hell, mocked all winter by the GM, never had a chance to make the team and maybe passed by Peter Alonso.

Braves future stars:
Acuna: holy crap!

Good. Love to see how he handles this

I can imagine that mound conversation.

Vargas: Get me out of here!

Eiland: No. We're already lost this one, and it's only the fifth inning. We need you to eat more innings so we can save the bully for a game we have a shot at winning.

Reyes: I don't know, man.

Wilmer: I'm worried about the people sitting in the outfield seats. They're going to get hurt. We need to give them gloves or something.

Reyes: Maybe one of them can pitch?

I liked the covering of the mouths while meeting, as if the Braves might discover how exactly he's not getting them out.

Well at least I know to not watch the replay. I didn't realize it was get away day, as in, get me away from these turkeys.

I think there are a lot of positives to be drawn from the three scoreless innings in the middle of Vargas's outing.

I'm really just watching to see how much longer this no-hitter is gonna go.

They should extend the netting all the way around the outfield when Vargas pitches.

So we get insanely hot, then suck ass.

It's like we miss Duda so much we decided to turn into him.

I don't think Harvey's bullpen experience is going very well.

Which position player would be in a position to pitch? Nimmo?

I was really hoping Harvey would find his groove today; at least it would have been one bright spot. I thought for a while there it might happen.

Blevins is a perfect name for that

Harvey can't get Major League hitters out anymore. Maybe he can learn this, but his OJT is going crappily.

There is no reason for him to be on the Mets roster after today. They made the interim step by sending him to the bullpen but he hasn't improved. He needs to go to AA (I'm afraid of what he might do in Las Vegas and I'm not talking about the altitude) and try to get his act together.
