Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Aaron Nola vs Thor1:10 startBroadcast on Facebook? What the fuck is that for? Hopefully they get permission before they use anyone else's music in a transition shot, cause these FB fucks are ruthless. Trust me on this.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 I'll listen on the radio; I don't want to add one more click to any statcounter that could lead this becoming more of a thing than it alreadyshouldn't be.

I might too, because I'm so busy posting all over the place during the game and I hardly get to actually watch it. I hear it tho and look when the boys voices are raised.I may have to rotate media outlets for the game. Doing 3 at once is a tough gig. Edited April 4, 2018 by Guest
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Going later today with YoungerPooper and my favorite tita. Maybe I'll Facebook Live it.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 I'm at the office today, so I'll just go with GameDay. If I was at home, and the only one within earshot, I'd do the Facebook streaming.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Not cool with this exclusive Facebook thingy. Extra Innings tells me I'll get EVERY out of market game...but, evidently not this one.I'll be listening to the radio broadcast distractedly at work rather than giving the game my full attention later tonight on DVR delay.BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

What a buttfuck.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Legitimate FB account?Man, the Russians are going to be pissed when they miss out on Thor.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Hear 'em, see 'em, log on to 'em lining up as such:Brandon Nimmo CFYoenis Céspedes LFJay Bruce RFTodd Frazier 3BAsdrúbal Cabrera 2BAdrián González 1BKevin Plawecki CNoah SyndergaardRHP Amed Rosario SS
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 First five games, Cabrera has batted 4th, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 5th.Asdrubal is Spanish for "versatile".

I'll probably indulge MLB Live on fb, I'm weakwhen it comes to the Mets and it's easy enough to find.I'm all-out on these concepts and fear for the future of how I get my shit down the road.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 So, I'm not on Facebook for a variety of reasons plus I can't duck out for a late lunch to watch this at a local restaurant. Glad this is only one game this year and I hope the experiment dies a sad death.

Completely loathe FB, but Syndergaard v. Nola should be a great matchup and I have a bad feeling I'll activate my stupid account to watch this game. Maybe we can use a relevant #hashtag to voice our compliant displeasure. #StrikeOutFacebook#ThumbsDownMLB#StealBasesNotData#HubieBrooksNotFaceBooks#GinsbergNotZuckerberg
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 There are to be 25 such 'Facebook' games this year. That's 50 teams involved total or between 1 and 2 for each team (assuming more or less even distribution which may or may not be the case). So the good news here is that we're getting one of ours, and maybe the only one, off the table early.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 I'd rather "watch" the game on CBS Gametracker than on facebook.Fortunate to have local TV today.Expecting the Phillies to do something stupid today.LGM

It might not be limited to games most people don't watch on tv anyway because work even.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Not a lark for sure. Facebook moves like the blob absorbing all in its' path.Just another thing

That's the gist of all this. No Mets production, no Phillies production, no cable, no MLB app. Just the Facecast for watching. As always, WOR has it covered on radio.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Splendid! I get a black screen with just audio.#fbuckyou
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 MLB.com says the game is delayed.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Rain delay indicates Mother Nature's Facebook account has been hacked.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Do the Russian bots have any prognosis regarding when the game might get underway?
