There was an Asian-Asgardian who was part of Thor's pack, who stood tall in Ragnorok before getting killed by Cate Blanchett. There are two (or one and half, maybe) Asian-Americans in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. One of them (or the half) is even super-powered.

Some second-generation folks have been Asian-American in the comic bookz. A latter-day Hulk was a Chinese-American named Amadeus Cho. I think the mantle of Batwoman was taken on by an Asian-American.

Silk is a Korean-American who also got bitten by Peter Parker's spider.

The X-Men had Japanese dude Sunfire, who nobody liked, and Jubilee, the daughter of Chinese immigrants in California. She has been mostly pretty popular, as she sort of first appeared as sort of a Mary Sue character. Psylocke the psionic started off as a Brit, but ended up Asian-American after the psyche entered a nu body or something.

There was an Asian character in the New Mutants back in the 1980s. Her name was Karma. And more recently, there was an Asian Hulk, Amadeus Cho.

Jubilee has appeared in a few of the X-Men films, though I don't tend to watch those. She has been portrayed by Katrina Florece, Kea Wong, and Lana Condor.

What are you talking about? There was the Ancient One in Dr. Strange... oh, wait. Nevermind. Well, there was the Ghost in the Shell... oh, yeah. forget that one too. Well, PSylocke was played by... yeah, no.

He's putting his money on Cindy Moon (aka, SILK) who is in the Spider-verse.

In the meantime, we've got Colleen Wing in IRON FIST on TV, and Jubilee in the X-universe, and Mantis from Guardians, and Kitana from Suicide Squad.
All of whom are supporting characters.

Daniel Dae Kim, formerly of Hawaii Five-0, has said that he'd love to play the Sub-Mariner. He observed that Namor is a character who looks like he could be played by an Asian actor, and he's right. Kim is 50 years old now, so he might be too old for the part by now, but that doesn't mean that another Asian actor can't play Namor if and when he eventually comes to the screen. It's a very good idea.

No reason an Atlantean couldn't be played by an Asian actor, and they do have similar physical characteristics.

The first Asian comic book hero I remember was Chop-Chop, a member of the Blackhawks.

He started out as a stereotypical "cook and mascot" but became a valued member of the team, fighting tyranny and injustice.
I collected those comic books as a kid, and later found the last issue (IIRC # 270-something) which I still have somewhere in the house.
The article states that Steven Spielberg is considering a film based on the characters, so you may get that Asian hero (channeling the announcer in the trailer) "coming to a theater near YOU."
