Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 [Marlins General Manager] Hill made the trade as he began a trip to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. Not that I'm not impressed, but ... seriously?
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Wow.The Brewers are not behaving as a non-competitive money saving team looking not to win.I am envious.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 I'll bet the Mets outpace the Brewers.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 They need to add a veteran starter...offense wasn't really their issue last season. Still, that outfield is a serious upgrade.

Still, that outfield is a serious upgrade.True, and adding talent even where they didn't necessarily need it puts them in a good position to trade for an arm. Domingo Santana could fetch something nice back, I'd imagine.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 well there's just no way for the Mets to compete for talent with a big-market team like... Milwaukee.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Mets will out-victory the Brewers. I guarantee it.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 My money's on the table. Brewers my buttocks.Plus, every guy who gets traded from the Marlins makes things just a little sweeter for the team that gets to play them 19 times.
