  1. I really don't want to go through this again. Can't we just link to that other thread? All of the conversation about pretty much exact same deal has been played out. It'll save some time.
  2. Thanks Valaddy Daddy.
  3. ="Edgy DC"]For all booking and media inquiries please contact: Anna Benson Enterprises 6025 Sandy Springs Circle Suite 313 Atlanta, GA 30328 Tel: (404) 252.2161 Fax: (404) 252.0457 sandy@annabenson.net brandy@annabenson.net Based out of Atlanta? Does this have anything to do with the Gold Club? Is that where Kristen met her?
  4. Someone invite Anna to the forum so she can start it up.
  5. Barmes: the forgotten man. I would've thought he was the easy winner back before the deer meat incident. When do we get MVPs?

  7. I'm kind of hoping Jacobs doesn't win it next year. That award can be the kiss of death.
  8. Edgy DC wrote: Throwing out runners is vastly over-rated. Are you interested in joining TORVO, Edgy? I have some literature that I can send you. We're always looking for new recruits.
  9. Though, it's not my money. If they can pay that much and still buy other stuff, why not?
  10. Ugh....I agree with you then. Too much money.
  11. smg58 wrote: I like Wagner too, but there are too many other relievers on the market to justify four years and $40M, if that's what it takes to get it done. I agree. Fortunately, these numbers seem to have come from your imagination. I'm hoping so, at least.
  12. ] A stud defensively at third base, Not really, but there's time.
  13. This is a joke right? This is one of those funny topic threads, isn't it?
  14. Edgy DC wrote: Trax's 10-and-five eligibility? True enough. But if he's ticked off maybe he'll waive it. Everyone had a hard-on for the Red Sox's catching prospect earlier on. They need pitching, we need a long term plan for catcher. Though maybe Trax would garner more if we held onto him until right before the trading deadline. There will probably again be about 10 teams right at .500 who will be fighting for every scrap of pitching out there. I'm sure we could find a use for him over the first half of the season.
  15. We should keep Minky. We need his defense at first. (I really wish ezboard hadn't crashed and burned.)
  16. I'd keep Zambrano around just because recent history shows that just about every team needs an emergency starter for a solid month, if not more. The guy I see being traded is Traxxxxx. I get the (totally unsupported by solid facts) feeling that Willie doesn't have him in his plans, and that Traxxxxx was turned off by the drama from last year, and will get pissed if it happens again in 2006. Then Heilman goes to the rotation. My guesses for '06.
  17. Nymr83 wrote: lawrence is as good as zambrano if not better I guess, but I put Zambrano at seventh in our rotation anyway.
  18. Speaking of which, when does that film Game Six come out on DVD?
  19. I just bought a 2-disc DVD of which the first disc is a basic highlight film of the '86 WS and the second disc is billed as "most of the original game footage from Game Six." I ended up buying it directly from the guy's website instead of on eBay because he didn't accept PayPal. I can PM (or post, I don't want to be an advertiser for the guy though I will if enough people are interested) the website to anyone else who wants to buy it. I'm assuming most of you won't be interested because you probably all have video tape of every game from the entire 1986 season. I'm the loser who doesn't have Game Six on tape.
  20. I'm glad that neither of those players are on the Mets.
  21. It's the players. It's always the players. It's never the manager. (almost never).
  22. Hey there
  23. How ya doin?

I'm not saying A-Rod isn't intelligent, but a little common sense could have spared him a great deal of grief. I'm sure he realized "I shouldn't be doing this" as he made his way into a dusty basement smelling of urine with a fistful of hundreds. He probably has the common sense and just chose to ignore it.
  25. So, how's Aaron doing?
