  1. Why, exactly, was Heilman used today?
  2. We going to do the same pictures every time huh?
  3. That's a fun game.
  4. Though by disgusting, I actually meant good. It's like saying "nasty outfielders".
  5. Great running catch by Marrero in right. He took a slightly bad angle so he had to reach as far as he could a little back over his head while running towards center. How many disgusting outfielders do we have on this team???
  6. Is the programming a large project? Need help?
  7. Centerfield wrote: And finally, the last thing Okinawa has to offer is Chozen, Sato’s nephew who, of course, hates Daniel. He also had a two-line part in The Game in which he spoke an accentless American.
  8. Glavine hitting for himself. What say you CPFers?
  9. Or at least post some subject matter.
  10. That's a great beer name. Milledge Time.
  11. Castro going the other way, just out of the reach of a leaping right fielder.
  12. We have a new entrant in the race for stupidest, most annoying commercial of the year.
  13. I am not as confident in the bullpen as Aaron Heilman has struggled to the point that his overall season can only be classified as "good" and not "excellent".....but I think Glavine's gotta come out. These older folks don't do so well in the hot weather some times.
  14. Saw him live once...a pretty good show.
  15. I'm sick of this argument.
  16. Jon Stewart with the quote that "This is by far the ugliest stadium that I have ever been in but it's my favorite."
  17. For posterity: ]One day after general manager Omar Minaya said assigning Cliff Floyd to the disabled list wasn't likely and 11 days after the Mets left fielder sprained his left ankle, the club disabled him. The move, effective retroactively to June 7, was announced shortly before the Mets' Interleague game against the Orioles on Saturday night. The corresponding move -- reinstatement of Xavier Nady from the disabled list -- won't be executed until Sunday morning, when the veteran right-handed hitter arrives at Shea. He would be available to play Sunday, when the Orioles are to start left-handed rookie Adam Loewen.

I paid money, so I have the right to make a guy feel like shit.

But I may be missing something. if franco doubles the mets are a hit away from tying it.... No, no, I understand the theory. But if your goal is to keep the Mets from scoring runs, why wouldn't you play the same defense you usually play to keep them from scoring runs? As seen in this game, Franco's foul ball was almost a double and would've been caught if the right fielder was positioned normally.
  22. My team sucks.
  23. Poop. On a stick.

  25. This closer at Baltimore is pretty good huh.
