That combined with an increasing fear of walking him in general, as his baserunning has gotten more TV play and as Belgadight mash the crap out of the ball.

At this point we don't have room for him up here. Just as well. Of course, I still am not holding my breath on El Duque. Or some such expression.

]Reyes extended his hitting streak to eight games with his double in the first inning and is now batting .500 (17-for-34) with 11 runs scored, seven doubles, a triple, three RBIs and three stolen bases during that stretch. He has no walks in his last seven games. He had three in the game prior to those (2 intentional).

Well done, Duaner. Well done indeed. The DP to end the sixth was an easy one. Close the book on Trachsel with 6 IP, 2 ER. The problem is that I'm happy with that. And I should not be happy with a starter going 6.

]Still, the point is well taken that famous or semi-famous people shouldn't get into compromising positions with strangers these days, because anyone (and almost everyone) can take pix via cell phone. Not what I was going for at all. The point is that anyone with a cell phone can easily advance an agenda by creating a "compromising situation" where none never existed.

My point was not that David or Al were doing anything wrong (my memory may be faulty, but I think Al's compromising position was standing by himself watching a beer pong game), but an agreement with that other thread that it's very easy to get your photo taken these days....which can be seen in the photo of a guy who may be taking a photo. (looks like he's texting but you get the idea).

I don't remember who or where, but someone ripped on Al for putting himself in a compromising situation where his picture could be taken at a party. There's a shot in there of someone who could easily be taking Wright's picture with his phone. Actually that's probably where all those pictures came from.

Since Lo Duca is hitting second I'm not worried about his SLG being low. I'm more worried about his OBP being low.

I'm not looking for evidence that he is improving right before our eyes. I'm looking for evidence that he is the best leadoff man in baseball, as Verducci theorized.
