    I thought both Colon and Niese looked great out of the pen. I'd be delighted if they kept both of them around, one as 5th-starter-til-Wheeler-Day, the other as spot-starter/long-man. Niese could conceivably become lefty-getter-outer-in-chief after Wheeler's return. I enjoy Robles and Familia, and hope to see Vic Black again. I guess Reed was pretty good; I just never liked him.

    I left my fitted blue Mets cap at the in-laws' house after the NLCS sweep, and had to wear a less-lucky hat for the last two games. I should have known better; they jumped out to early leads when I wore it, and then locked them down when I took it off. My bad. Edit: I mean, I love my orange Mr. Met hat as much as the next guy, but it's clearly not the uniform for this postseason.

    Even recognizing that this is a good kind of problem to have, I am completely baffled about what to do with my team. I've been in first place for so long that I'm terrified to make any moves, but also terrified that I'm going to end up losing because I rested on my laurels as of mid-June. I don't usually find non-money leagues this stressful.
