    cripes-----why the disention? U guys want to see a verbal bruHaHa? Mr Rogers resurrected the thing for the NLDS. Lets all cooperate like we would with yance --- Im not knocking Elsters involvment but lets work together here. And Im not like just here to back Mr Rogers when he needs it--Id do the same for anyone being treated unfairly. Just seems ol Steve-O gets the shaft more than he deserves. I know what its like to be just an excitable boy--Im Zvon, dammit!

    I hope Cliffys back in a weeks time, the Mets make it to the series, and he see's some action. Im sentimental like that. I know it dont look good for him. As far as next year--I kinda expected him to retire after this season if the Mets made the big show anyways. Esp if his nagging heel acted up again. Anyone whos a Met fan, even cleon, knows how much Cliff wanted to contribute and be part of this. It be nice if he had the chance to cap off his career in such a fashion.

    ESPN says that the NY Daily News says that Steinbrenner says that Torre will be fired and replaced by Sweet Lou as manager of the NY Skanks.. Anything that gets Pinella out of the broadcasting booth sits well w/me.
