Im tryin to catch this game and so far I was only looking at the TV for one pitch, and Bradley hit it out. Dont think I was even lookin--just heard the crowd and looked. lol. Was there a moment of silence for Cory Lidle? Pinella is soooo bad Im really surprised his broadcasting doesnt ruin any chance he'll ever manage anywhere again. He just, most times,(there hv been some interesting insights) sounds so dumb. Yesterday the play by play guy goes- "And its drilled to deep left-----deep enough--------------but its foul." And Pinella goes(something like)_ "That was drilled.......deep to left....but it was foul." --Like he was a freakin parrot or something.

Hope its not heartless to say i wanna see some baseball. If it should be canceled Id think only the weather should be a deciding factor. I dont want to see Met players risking injury at this point.

I didnt see what you deleted WP, but a joke certainly occured to me. Concerning the Skanks and the headlines,.... but..... this is just---devistaing news in this area. Lidle was very well known being an ex- Phillie and all. I still may have posted the joke in due time---but must... refrain... *Z clenches teeth.

The old General Steinbrenner would have dumped Torre after the 2002 Yanks/Angels series....if not, definately after Bostons classic comeback. No---he has mellowed a bit. Thats why Im just a tad surprised over this, and wont really believe it till it actually happens. Torres managing, to me, just isnt the real core of the Yankees problems. Firing him doesnt seem to be the way to start addressing their dilemma, IMO.

This is a tuff one-- In terms of how it effects the Mets both pitching staffs worry me. But the A's less so, I think. And yea-a rematch of the 73 series--Id enjoy that angle. Many forget that went 7 exciting games. We really should have taken that series.
