Edgy DC wrote: I may be misreading this, but Pedro seemed to be questioning Mota's pitch selection. I am also, and so is Tim McCarver, but Pedro seems to be doing it to Mota's face, as he's pointing at his head (think, Guillermo) while talking to him, and Mota is looking back at him like he wants to put Pedro's other arm in a cast. Tim has a valid point (mark the date) with the "out"pitch talk.

If Green makes that catch........another Met postgame play for the ages. Damn--I wanted him to make that grab. But I[u:b7f0b535ba] will [/u:b7f0b535ba]settle for him keeping it in the park. Heilman on, and hopefully shuts em down til the 9th.

ScarletKnight41 wrote: Crap - 6-6. Green just missed catching it, but his glove brought it back into the park at least. bringin it back in might end up being a game saver. I can only hope thats how it looks in the postgame. Damn. Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn.

DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYM. OH--if Green makes that catch.....! But he cant haul it in. tied again. The umps better not call that a homer.
-
Holding Pujols to a single on that....absolutely amazing. Chavez isDAmAn!
-
note to FOX booth___________________ we know Pujols is the best hitter in the game-- so SHUT-UP-ALREADY!

damn! Reyes can flyyyyyy man. That run is HUGE!

Im really impressed the way Reyes is looking over pitches. Even if he Kd, Id say that. But he walks. Very nice to see him not swinging wildly in the post season, for the most part.

ScarletKnight41 wrote: Z - that's fabulous! (MK thinks so also!) HaHa--thanks! That layout had only been prepared for 5 Met players. Of course Delgado was one of em. LETS GET MORE RUNS METS!

Wonder if Pujols will go on record saying Maine and all the Mets pitchers (who end up in) pitched bad,...had nothing....blah,blah, waaWaa.
-
Tucker hits for Maine, and is hit by Carpenter. I wished for more from Maine, but I like that he has kept us in this ballgame. Thats all I can ask for from him here.
-
YES!!!!!!!!! Maines 3rd K is crucial.

Edgy DC wrote: The problem with tagging Mellancamp a sellout is that guys like him and Petty don't fit in any radio formats any longer, so commercials are the best way to tell people that they have a new album. Thanks for that tid-bit out of nowhere, lol. (That song is growing on me- drat!) Eckstein makes it to third. I told ya bout this guy.... Cant let him be reachin.

Valadius wrote: Ok, time for Wright to do something here. That'd be real nice. Ill take the walk. Delgados shot up the middle--damn-I hate shifts by opposing teams.

Coulda been worse. 4-4. Im with Willie. Squeeze Maine for eveything we can get. But only for sooo long. We are still in this,,,,, But unless Maine throws quality strikes, his pitches are REALLY numbered now. Even a lead off walk next frame--pull him.
-
FRACK! Edmunds goes yard. Tie ballgame.
-
Well, walks may kill but Id rather see Pujols reach that way as opposed to any other way. But come on Mainey--settle down. Go get em.
-
Yea! Endy hits! GREAT bunt by Maine! Reyes knocks him in! 4-2
-
Thank you Eckstein.
