  1. 6-2 Braves, but Bucs are trying to come back with one out in the 9th. Two Pirates reach and that cheater pitcher Walden can leap from the mound to the showers. Braves go to Kimbral. Going for his 45th save. McCutchen up.
  2. Phils do step on the Marlins, 2-1. Looks like the Braves will beat the Pirates. If it involves having to win games I'm a little worried about second place.*adjusts tie

Should be cool either way. Go Doyers? I'll watch a few innings of that later on tonight. Run out on the field at the end so I can see you
  4. Braves are beating on the Buccos, 6-2, 5th. Phils up on Fish, 1-0 7th.

I think they are as raucous as they used to be (esp in the locker room) but there's not a trace of spontaneity in them anymore, imo. They all look like stock vid game celebrations.
  7. So what Am I rooting for here? Pirates to drown the Braves?

  12. See, I don't understand this twitter business. How can Twitter hijack a hashtag, and why would they? What does "twitter hijacks it" even mean. They pulled the plug on it? http://www.newsday.com/sports/baseball/mets/mets-start-imametsfanbecause-hashtag-twitter-hijacks-it-1.9384020 I wonder who won the tickets. That's the story I wanna hear.

  14. If Abreu homers here we all kiss TC's ass all of 2015.

Unless 'd's arm is just season tired. In any case, no need for that additional movement. 'd has got to improve his throwing if he's to be plan A behind the plate. He'd have to put up Piazza type numbers to overcome that, imo. I don't know what the numbers are. His arm is fine. His execution, not so much. Maybe he can just put some of his thinking behind him like he seemingly has with his hitting. Could work. On that specific throw, the tail it had on it, looked more like a tired arm, not an injured one or anything. We've seen him ace throws to 2nd, so we know he can do it. But he hasn't in awhile. Storen in to keep us down for 3 outs.
  16. denDekker just tweeted this: kidding!

  20. den done. Recker hits for denDekker.
  21. A walk's nice Bobby but I see no beer in your future. Aside from the post game case I imagine you have in your locker, of course.
  22. Pick em up Campy. Free beer for ya here.
  23. Ugh. Shudda sent him. But Tuef knows better than I. Maybe his concern was the fielders arm. I'm thinkin' it was the lazy feets.
