  1. EYoung: 2 Lagares: 2 Duda: 1 d'Arnaud: 2 Gee: 1 Torres: 1 Familia: .5 Mejia: .5
  2. lol. That was a new Mejia Move. What was he...fishing? Book it Danno. Murder one.
  3. If Mejia can't throw to a base and has difficulty throwing an intentional ball, I seriously dunno about him. If he gets this out I'll know better.
  4. From the side/above view: did anyone see that little rocking motion Mejia makes from the set position? He only does it once before the pitch. Isn't that a balk?
  5. Jank better watch out or he's gonna balk.
  6. Where have I seen this EYoung getting on and scoring business? Oh yea, in the beginning of the season when we were winning. He don't sound stupid.
  7. I like what Ronnie was saying. I'll go further. Use the replay thing but just let the umps call on it for assistance. Fuck the challenge shit. Whip up a set of google type glasses that you can view video on, equip the crew chief with it (flip down google glasses?), and he can review any close call in seconds and confirm or reverse. Boom. Done and done *wipes hands

  9. If this was Shea that ball would have hit the top of the wall. There is no magic at Citi Field.
  10. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseball/24705900/giancarlo-stanton-leaves-on-stretcher-after-taking-pitch-to-face Per the Marlins, Stanton, after being transported to a nearby hospital for X-rays and a CT scan, was found to have facial lacerations (which required stitches), multiple facial fractures and dental damage. He'll remain hospitalized overnight before returning to Miami on Friday for further evaluation. Shit. ugh, this is awful. I understand the pitcher who hit him was very upset. Tweeted tonight by Mike Fiers: @Giancarlo818 I am deeply sorry about what happened tonight. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I feel horrible and hope for a speedy recovery.
  11. EYoung: 1 Duda: 1.4 Recker: 2 Herrera: 1 Abreu: 1 Matsuzaka: 2 Goeddel: 1 Alvarez: .1 Germen: .5
  12. Just saw the Stanton HBP. That caught all face. Ugh, just awful.
  13. Well, those were our last chances. Bases full, a granny would tie it, 2 guys who can hit HR's can't pull off the comeback kaboom. Booooo! I might have to pop over to that Brewers game. Another hit batter and a brawl over there.
  14. OH! Duda couldn't hit it any harder. Damn.
  15. Horrible news about Stanton. I hope he is okay. OUCH! Muffy hit by a pitch. Bases blue and ready to bust. 6-2. Duda.
  16. Bobby wants beer.
  17. This better be all I see Abreu doing. Pinch hitting.
  18. Excellent Officer Brown. She hit every note. *salute
  19. Keith: little field mouse hitters. HA!
  20. Oh, I apologize as well. And commend EYoung on his baserunning. I'm impressed that he looked at Tueff. More and more I see players not doing basic stuff like that. Tsk,tsk Tim T. That was not the time to take a chance.

  22. EYoung makes it happen and then flashes that stupidity. I actually thought he was going to be safe watching live. But jeeze, like Rons saying, take the base they give you.
  23. So Bart hit Desmond in the 1st following the homer? I imagine that a warning was issued at that point?
  24. d'Kong76 wrote: Just saw a replay of the Colon pitch ... c'mon, he was pitching inside and it sailed a little. I'm going to have to watch that entire inning later and see it in context. I missed most of the early innings tonight.
  25. OOOO, that was way outta there. Recker with a BIG boom. 6-1
