  3. I've made sure to vote for every game.
  4. Someone should tell ESPN.
  5. I'm confused. Who's pitching tonight then?
  6. I'm rooting for exhuming Billy Martin himself, just for old times sake.

  10. I finally got around to renewing my sponsorships and using former Mets to plug the Crane Pool. My strategy was to use UMDB's top 20 lookups so I renewed Ron Darling and added Lee Mazzilli. If you want to use this strategy, Rusty Staub is currently available for $40 and Kevin Mitchell for $56!

  12. I've never quite gotten the Interstate references. We'd all be happy if one of our players was hitting the Capital Beltway, for example. And closer to Shea, we'd be incredulous if a Mets batter hit the Van Wyck Expressway.
  13. You can keep up with Bobby V at his blog Bobby's Way
  14. All those flourescent colors in the uniform. Topographically though I can't imagine two states more different that Colorado and Florida, at least elevation wise.
  15. True, losing the Rockies and the Nationals back-to-back leaves no room for boastfulness.
  16. Florida?
  17. Four runs charged to Rivera makes it 11-4 in the 9th. Giggling like a madman here.
  18. I was really worried when Dice-K (or is it Dick-K?) loaded the bases and allowed the Yanks to go ahead in the fourth inning. I was pleasantly surprised when the Sox just took the lead back. Now Mariano Rivera is being lifted for Mike Myers. The Yankees had a chance to humiliate Boston's big $$$ acquisition but got themselve humiliated instead.
  19. The next question is: Why did the Yankees want him back? Do they really buy their own "true Yankee" propaganda?
  20. Call me ignorant but when did Andy the Rat Face Boy rejoin the Yankees?

  22. That one guy seems to be breaking the draconian "NO SITTING" rule. Freakin' hippies!
  23. I like that he uses CHB (which means Curly Haired Boyfriend), Carl Everett's derogatory term for Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy (who may be the worst, reactionary, write-by-the-numbers, sports columnist ever).
  24. Or maybe it isn't, but it's funny stuff. I bet we could do stuff like this that would elicit even more chuckles.
  25. iramets wrote: ="Frayed Knot"]Dick-K Is this what they're calling him now? Maybe the Yankees fans.
