Here in Massachusetts where DuDo's is on every corner there is a picture of Rachael Ray in each window with the words "Quick and Delish" underneath. I'm assuming those are her words.

  3. 1. John Vukovich. 2. Already answered. 3. Yes, yes, flaming red burning h-h-h-h-h-h-h-hot!
  4. He seems to specialize in unnecessary sequels.
  5. 2nd Half Resolution: I've been unable to follow the Mets much the past 3-4 weeks and thus not voting, but starting on Thursday I'll resume voting for every game.

  7. Wow, 30 innings of baseball for New York teams.
  8. Stimulants, not 'roids.
  9. It moves with lightning quick speed. All bow before Yancy and KC!!!

  11. I sense a disconnect: The name "Pepper Potts" implies something spicy and curvaceous to me. The name "Gwyneth Paltrow" implies something bland and stringbean-like.
  12. I like the look of those final standings. I guess the Mets would play the Padres in the NLDS. I can't imagine the Mets winning 92 games at this point though. I expect 85 wins top although it looking like that's enough to win the Division of Suck.
  13. The one that's leading the majors in winning pct.

So we can all look forward to watching them go 3-and-out in the NLCS. I was just wondering to myself the the NL East is the worst division in baseball. The AL East has only 1 .500 team. Yes but the AL East has one great team compared to zero for the NL East so it is a stronger division.

That's some of the kind of spirit the team seems to have been missing recently. ="MFS62"]And I believe an injection of enthusiasm is what the club needed during its recent doldrums Um, they are 8-1 in their last 9 games. Slump's been over for a little while now. When the length of the hot streak exceeds the length of the slump (and the lineup shows some hitting consistency), only then may I feel that this team is going somewhere. Until then the 2007 Mets are shrouded in doubt.

  20. Secret Gardenhire.
  21. To do: 1. Kick ass. 2. Take names.
  22. Looks good Edgy, and that's even before adding players picked up in trades from AL teams who think a Glavine or a Wagner will give them an edge and are willing to pay. As is, I'd bet the Allegedly Stronger Team could go 15-19 over a six-week period too (and score just 122 runs or 3.6 per game avg. in that time).
