  1. I'm sure you could get Rogers to come over and turn 'bot's key next time.
  2. Willets Point wrote: Will vote on the Dodgers series tonight. ...or maybe I'll just fall asleep on the couch. I suck.
  3. Gwreck wrote: Damn you Willets! I'm up to level 8 but can't beat it. Levels 2 and 7 were the hardest so far. I never got past level 2 myself.
  4. Test your own batting skills by playing Pinch Hitter 2.
  5. I don't agree with the moratorium simply because the list itself is a product of its time in of itself and there will be new lists that reconsider things down the road. I like that a list from 2007 will include and exclude things that future generations will scratch their heads about.
  6. The Dodger program included Swank in a series of photos of celebrities who came to games at Dodger Stadium with no mention that she was there to watch the Mets.

Drew Barrymore was 10,do you mean 1995 or 2005?.... Drew Barrymore did a lot of things by the age of ten that most kids never do at that age. I wouldn't put producing a film past her.
  8. These two quotes are in sequence in this thread and are particularly funny if you read Edgy's comment as an answer to Soupy's question. Soupcan wrote: Why this particular guy was hired in the first place I have no idea - he fit the profile of a pedophile so perfectly that it was absolutely no surprise to anybody when it happened. ="Edgy DC"]It's pretty easy. "Hey, Mr. Wilpon, congratulations, your guys are looking good this season."
  9. I was eight when E.T. came out and pretty much hated it thus setting me apart from the great mass of eight year olds who loved it. I also hated Michael Jackson who was big at that time. This pretty much set the stage for my iconoclastic lifestyle and the fact that I never had any friends. Thanks fro bringing up those old wounds Edgy.
  10. Don't worry, I'll give you full credit in the OED.
  11. "shart" = a cross between sharp and smart.
  12. It's always encouraging when an MLB "athlete" weighs more than I do.
  13. Will vote on the Dodgers series tonight.
  14. I like Vin Scully's voice, it has a pleasing, timeless baseball quality to it. Hearing the radio broadcast is that highlight of visiting the bathrooms at Dodger Stadium.
  15. I'm surprised that none of you watching on tv noticed the apoplectic fits I was having in the stands because of Glavine. It's nice to read this thread and see that finally some of you are acknowledging that Glavine isn't the Holy of Holies.
  16. Maybe Bonds will gracefully retire at 755.
  17. Delgado 2.5 Feliciano .5 LoDuca .5 Maine 2 Schoeneweis 1 Valentin 1.5 Wright 2

  20. Edgy DC wrote: OK, who's hanging in here for the ninth? Apparently, me and me alone. Down to the last out.
  21. Edgy DC wrote: He would, but I don't think they're going for it. Not being a real wound-licker, I just liked Cameron and then he hit a homer against the Mets in a game where they could really use some offense. I just looked through the trade chain. I'll keep Ollie Perez thank you very much.
  22. Didn't somebody say that the Padres can't hit?
  23. Mike Cameron would make a nice Met. Mmm...wounds!
