  1. i'll try to get there.
  2. oh fudge. After Imus left, those shows with M&MD in Imus's slot was about the worst radio i've ever heard... ever... in my entire life. i've started listening to Mike & Mike on ESPN radio1050, which is not great radio either, but at least i don't find it physically nauseating to listen to them.

He's been playing everyday since 5/13 and, over that 14-game span, the Mets have gone 10-4. ND's numbers over that period were: 15/52 (.288 BA) 6r / 6rbi / 2 2b / 1 3b /1 hr / 5bb / 7k / 2/4 sb [Taking away the Yankme game, he hit .234 over that period.]

  20. holy crap! You start the scrubs and still score 5 in the 9th to win it. It's games like this that make me think our team could be something special this year.
  21. Agreed. But it's "superb", not "suberb".

  24. I think that the irony of journalists calling for the deportation of a young guy guilty only of financing offensive expression would be funny if it weren't so disturbing. Especially when these journalists work for media conglomerates that own record labels and catalogues filled with similar material.
  25. Yancy Street Gang wrote: If I remember right, Vic, you weren't too crazy about the first two Spidey films. The . no, i didn't love them, but i liked them well enough. I preferred the 2nd, because Molina's Doc Ock was better (both as a character and as a performance) than Defoe's Goblin. Also, the scene on the train in S-M 2 was terrific. but all the movies have the same problem... Kirsten Dunst. She gives a bad name to bad actresses everywhere. She should be pecked to death by woodpeckers, and after they suck her sap dry, the dessicated wooden remains should be set ablaze. And Paste Pot Pete? ...Yancy, you kill me. Weren't there 3 villains in that book... PPP, the Wizard, and the ... um... Trapster.. Trickster? Something like that? but i do think they should do a Spidey-FF x-o ... the story where Pete needs money, so tries to join the FF, only to discover that they don't get paid either.
