Barring something really crazy happening, Travis Jankowski will likely join the ranks of Stony Brook "alumni" who have made the jump to the professional ranks. Hitting .412/.477/.632 in 228 AB this season (not counting yesterday's doubleheader), Jankowski projects somewhere in the supplemental first round or thereabouts. (Make it happen, Sandy.) He'll join two Seawolves in the minors: Tom Koehler is 6-4, 3.71 in 11 starts with AAA New Orleans. Koehler celebrated his addition to the 40-man roster by starting 0-3, but in his last seven starts, he's gone 6-1, 2.43, and if you throw out the one loss (8 runs, 2 1/3 innings), he's 6-0, 0.93 in the other six games. He's knocking, Marlins. Nick Tropeano was drafted in the fifth round by Houston. He's 4-3, 2.94 in 10 starts, with a 76/13 K/BB ratio and a 1.119 WHIP in 64 1/3 innings. He's knocking, Astros.
