  1. Bob Klapisch makes his "O, Reggie face" and spews Yanqui flavored shmeg all over the newspaper, as par usual. Take that shit elsewhere.
  2. Dickey 3.5 Valdes 1.5 Francoeur 1 Bay 1 Castillo 1 Reyes 1 Carter 1
  3. MLB has announced the current standings for NL All Star voting and five Phillies currently lead their positions: Utley, Rollins, Polanco(!), Werth and Victorino (technically running 2nd and 3rd behind Braun but still putting them in line for starting spots). D-Wright is about 75k votes behind Polanco, no other Met is in the top 4 for their position (Reyes 5th among SS, Bay 10th among OFs). If there are five Phillies starting the ASG, and a likely comparative amount of Yankees, there is a 0% chance that I watch the game. F that.
  4. attgig wrote: agreed. leave 2b as it is, until Murph is actually playing games in AAA at 2b, and doing well - not just passable. And anyone who wants murph in rf, do you remember how he was in LF?!??? No way I want him in my OF. And as that experiment showed, I do NOT want him LEARNING a position in flushing.... no way. Put Carter in RF. Let him play against all RHP. I agree on all points. Murphy was cringeworthy in the outfield last year. I would love to see Carter get a bigger chunk of playing time in the 7th/8th hole in RF.
  5. Joe Girardi discusses spitball techniques with the Jonas Brothers: I have this perpetual image of the Jonas brothers as they appeared in South Park, getting their asses kicked around by a deranged and angry Mickey Mouse.
  6. Pelfrey 3.5 Mejia .5 Rodriguez .5 Wright 1.5 Pagan 1.5 Cora 1 Bay 1.5
  7. Takahashi 4.5 Feliciano .5 Acosta .5 Davis 1
  8. Santana 5 Bay 2 Cora 1 Wright 1 Feliciano .5 Davis .5
  9. He was out. Sit your overrated ass down, Joe G.
  10. Nice work by Feliciano there. Two nasty curveballs and a popup.
  11. Jerry's bringing in Pedro to pitch to Cano with the bases loaded. Kudos to Johan for a great game.
  12. The Great Gazoo thinks he hit it out. Shut your bug-eyed face, buddy.
  13. Get a Weber Grill! It'll help you dance like an ethnic person.
  14. Johan, 63 pitches through 6. MFYs dipping into the second best bullpen in New York.
  15. I want to see the Throbster hit this thing to Staten Fuckin Island.
  16. Cervelli, like G Money in "New Jack City," sucks the glass dick. PB moves Ike into scoring position for the chosen one.
  17. Wow. How sad. I am also 37. Makes you think.
  18. Acosta had an ERA of 3.00 and 14 K's in 12 innings (albeit with 8 BB's, yes, I know) Good thing Ollie's still in the pen though.
